SHOM navigation maps (french+ english channel) + map2ozi

Hello SAilors SHOM : French and English channel navigation maps Few tricks to read those SHOM Navigation maps on your PC and on your Windows mobile 1) Extract the SHOM map you want to convert into .map (readable for OZI PPC) in this folder you should have all those maps under .BSB and .Kap 2) Install Ozi OZI EXPLORER on PC using the user name / key 3 Import the BSB maps inside OZi MAP folder clic first Tab files , go down to Import Maps / New TAB go down to ALL BSB in one Directory etc ...... and than search for the folder in which you have extracted the .BSB .KAP Ozi will convert them into HIS folder MAP (generaly on the Root of disk : C) ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- 4) If you want those MAPS to be readable by OZI on your PPC you need to Recalibrate them. using the soft enclosed img2ozf_setup you will generate a specific .ozf file that you have to insert in the same folder inside your PPC / OZI / MAP folder along with your MAP EACH map transfered need to have it's own .ozf ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ The other soft Ozi map converter might be usefull if you need to convert those .map files into another format ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Also enclosed Fugawi Navigator (...)
