Ehat a great shame to spoil the audio quality with joint stereo!
Proper stereo sounds far better, has better channel seperation and better high frequencies, but for the best copy, use dual channel/dual stereo, 2 totally seperate track for the left and right.

In reality it "doesn't matter" actually. Joint Stereo is mostly standard in the many programs I have seen. Even if most people uses standard Stereo. And after what I've heard is that Joint Stereo is actually recommended is most cases. Besides, it takes a lot to hear the big differences between Joint and normal stereo.
