Updates: http://www.cyberlink.com/downloads/support/powerdvd/patches_en_US.html ================================ :: Tweak Pack for PowerDVD 10 :: ================================ Blu-Ray_Region_Reset.bat: Resets the Blu-Ray region settings Disable_BD_Mouse_Pop-up.bat: Disables the Blu-Ray disk Mouse support Pop-up Enable/Disable_3DFeature.bat: Enables/Disables the 3D Feature Enable/Disable_MoovieLive.bat: Enables/Disables MoovieLive, Remix + Comments Enable/Disable_CinemaMode.bat: Enables/Disables the Cinema Mode Enable/Disable_CLFLVSplitter.bat: Enables/Disables the FLV Splitter * Reset_HD_Dailog.bat: Resets the High-Definition Content dialog ** Remove/Restore_StartupApps.bat: Removes/Restores the Startup Applications *** Enable/Disable_Toolbar.bat: Enables/Disables the PowerDVD Toolbar Enable/Disable_Upgrade.bat: Enables/Disables the Upgrade Popups and Buttons * CLFLVSplitter.ax can cause a crash when you play flv videos in Windows Media Player. Disable_CLFLVSplitter.bat unregisters the FLV Splitter, which fixes the problem ** This comes in handy if you selected "Don't ask me this question again" and want to re-enable or disable TrueTheater Lightning and Smart De-interlace when playing High-Definition content *** Enables/Disables BDRegion and RemoteControl10 from running at startup. Don't disable them if you're planning to use a remote to control PowerDVD! Cheers, ADHDerby

Updated version: it activates to Mark II Ultra and it shouldn't give the cab error anymore. :\

profhardcore (2010-07-20)

I ran setup and it installed and seems to work fine. However my problem is when every time I start up it prompts me to install it again. I tired to install it again hoping that it would stop asking me but now it won't install. I get the message -Setup could not find a file on the specified path. Unable to locate file
c:/users/nathan~1/appdata/local/temp/7zsp52.tmp/powerdvd.msi.
It then gives me another message. Error1706. No valid source could be found for product powerdvd. Please help. how do I uninstall or get rid of the start up installation problem. Thanks. on Windows 7

 ADHDerby (2010-07-20)

You can try this: uninstall, reboot and then re-install PowerDVD.

profhardcore (2010-07-20)

I did try and uninstall but I get the exact same message. very confused...

I'm getting a BSOD with "nvlddmkm.sys" listed as the culprit when playing a DVD. Any suggestions?

sanzhey (2010-08-28)

works flawless. had downloaded the previous powerdvd 10 but it was unable to play 3d bluray. this is amazing. Thanks so much

senjacob (2010-08-29)

yeah
It works perfectly fine on my vista home basic
Congrats man for uploading a clean virus/trojenless version :)
and thank you for sharing and put this effort
+1 for this :D of course

jokerinlv (2010-08-29)

Downloaded, installed, and everything works perfect. ADHDerby great.

 ADHDerby (2010-09-05)

You're welcome! :)
@ profhardcore: Download and merge this reg file: http://www.*egaupload.co*/?d=9B2OGPXD then reboot and reinstall PowerDVD. If you get the same error then disable your virus scanner during the installation process. (replace the * in the link with m)
@ Coxy_UK: It's possible that your virus scanner blocks the keyboard shortcuts (false positive). Temporarily disable your virus scanner and test if the keyboard shortcuts work. If they work then add PowerDVD to the exclusion list.
@ Sebastian2008: Try updating your NVIDIA driver.

 ADHDerby (2010-09-14)

You're welcome! :)
@ Ganddi: PowerDVD uses external codecs (DivX, Xvid, MatroskaSplitter) to play movies. If you are using Windows 7 or Vista, try Combined Community Codec Pack (CCCP).
@ b10lee: Its a known error,.. a lot of people are having the same problem:

Does anyone else experience this error when attempting to run Setup.exe using Windows 7 Ultimate 32bit:
'Error 1719. Windows Installer service could not be accessed. Contact your support personnel to verify that it is properly registered and enabled.'
I receive this message both for 'PowerDVD 10 Mark II Ultra v10.0.1830.51 Preactivated [ADHDerby]' and 'PowerDVD 10 Ultra 3D v10.0.1705.51 Preactivated [ADHDerby]'.
Any help appreciated, thanks!

b10lee (2010-10-02)

@TheBlackWhirlwind
try running setup as admin, with all other apps closed.
which version of PowerDVD you had before?

TheBlackWhirlwind (2011-01-04)

@b10lee
Hi there, sorry about the late reply. I think the last PowerDVD I installed successfully was 7. I'm going downloading it again will try to follow your instructions. Thanks for the reply!

TheBlackWhirlwind (2011-01-04)

@b10lee
Hi there, sorry about the late reply. I'm attempting to download it again and will apply your instructions. I think the previous version I installed successfully was quite an old one, when I was still using Windows XP, think it was PowerDVD 7.
Thanks for the reply!

TheBlackWhirlwind (2011-01-04)

New problem.
I have since installed (successfully) Cyberlink Power2Go 7 and on attempting to install Cyberlink PowerDVD 10 it insists that I uninstall Power2Go first, which I'm not willing to do.
Does anyone know how to circumvent this problem without having to uninstall/reinstall programs?

zero_kull (2011-01-25)
