She worked as a diplomat and they traveled a lot. When Tonkla grew up Viyada decided to settle in Bangkok so her son can enter one of prestigious English speaking universities. Tonkla contradicted her and enrolled to study engineering in university upcountry. Tonkla had no idea what he wanted to do with his life when he met Tid who studied law.
