Civilization 3 Complete Edition

Category:

Games/PC

Uploaded:

Description:

i. Use 7-zip to decompress. 1. Mount the first iso file in a disc emulator like Daemon Tools. 2. Install the game. Mount the other iso files when prompted. 3. Apply the civ3v129f patch. 4. Replace Civ3Conquests.exe in the \Conquests directory. 5. Run it. Please be aware that only the Conquests version of the game fully works. This is really the best and only version of the game though!

Taxcut man thanks u saved me but theres another problem after i replace the civ3conquest wit the other one it still doesnt load and writes me the same shit "The application has failed to start because binkw32.dll was not found. Re-installing the application may fix this problem." Some one please help

taxcut (2008-08-20)

That is strange. I looked in my own Conquests directory, and it has got bink32.dll. I suggest you either re-install and repeat step 3 and 4, or, dowload bink32.dll and place it in the \\\Conquests directory.
I'm curious. Did you install with some special options. Which Windows do you use. I use Windows Server 2008.

ltcmdrData (2008-08-22)

valik94, you can probably just extract using winace, in my opinion, it's THE best compression/extraction programs out there. I have this game, and I have made images of it before. it's hard to make an image that works like the disc, I actually did it one time, but the next time I restarted my computer and mounted the image, it didn't work. you could always get a no cd crack. here is a link for one:
http://www.freeinfosociety.com/site.php?postnum=16

you will have to get all 3 cracks, conquests, PTW, and the regular Civ3 crack. just put the cracks in their corresponding folders, and extract them, when it asks you to replace the .EXE file, click yes, and then start the game. if you have any more problems dude, e-mail me at [email protected] ill help you through.

taxcut (2008-08-22)

Hi! I'm sure you can decompress with a number of programs. I've just found 7-zip to be the best, and the archive is made in 7-zip. When you install, try unmounting the iso before mounting a new one; maybe the installer doesn't get it otherwise. The e-mail problem you had is not related to this archive, and thus must be something related to winrar. There are six files in the archive: 3 iso, 1 patch, 1 no-cd file, 1 readme. As mentioned above, only the Conquests version of the game is fixed. Maybe there are other cracks out there that can fix the other versions, if you need them.

Wow thanx guys ill try IrcmdrData's method first if it works thanx alot and ill add ur email to my list in any case.

taxcut (2008-10-05)

I have no idea why this happens to you. Try this fix:

choudefarmer (2009-06-17)

dude i cant find the crack file like its not on my computer anywheres? i cant find anything called civ3v129f patch like where is it sapost to go when installed?

Jeepekula123 (2010-12-12)

It doesn´t work.
When i try to run Civ3Conquests it says "Please insert the civilization 3 Complete CD-ROM,select OK and restart application" when i have all three disk images mounted.

eumenides (2011-12-11)

This works perfect for me.
I followed instructions and I also unpacked with winrar. No problems occurred at all.

eumenides (2011-12-11)

Forgot to say, I am using a fresh install of XP fully updated and also using Damon to mount the .ISO files.

AlexHickey (2013-05-01)

I've done all that was explained yea, and when I came to "run it" it just goes off. Like I press run it and nothing happens. What to do please answer have been working on this for hours! XC
