Description:

Goldfrapp live at "T in the Park" 2006-07-08. Includes performances of "Fly Me Away", "Train", "Number 1", "Satin Chic", "Ooh La La", and "Strict Machine". Captured from a BBCi DVB-T channel and converted to MP4 stream, H.264/AVC video, and AAC audio. Includes chapter stops for each song. Length: 28m 39s. Frame: 720x576, 25 fps, PAL 16:9. Note, there is a minor video glitch at 06:40 from my original capture, during "Train", but the camera is panning over the audience at the time so it doesn't spoil it too much. There are no audio glitches apart from a couple of on-stage instrument failures. ;-) Enjoy!

Hmm, mp4 file... Anyone know what you should use and/or do to make this kind of file DVD compliant? I recently tried to convert an mp4 file to vob and mpg with ImTOO mpg converter, but the quality was disastrous. Any better suggestions?

ebichu63 (2006-07-24)

I have an MPEG2 version too if there's any demand for it. But this is 984 MB and contains the glitch at 06:40 mentioned earlier, which will appear as an actual error in the MPEG bitstream in this case.

I'd recommend trying mencoder, or AviSynth-ing it through to TMPGEnc, if you wanna make a DVD. Of course the original MPEG2 stream would have even better quality...

Thanks k-t-m, but those programs look far too advanced for a newbie like me.
I think I'll just stay clear of mp4 files until a good and easy to use converter is available. Maybe Tmpgenc 4.0 XPress? I'll keep my eyes open for a crack :-)

Thanks ebichu63! You rock.
