Install the No-CD crack in the folder. 5. To apply the crack patch, right-click on the AOE application and select "Show Package Contents." You can then navigate to the file that the crack directs you to drag onto the patch application. 6. "Eject" the mounted .toast file. 7. Launch the AOE app without a CD check. By now the whole game and crack is downloaded, but not the update/patcher. So I googled for an alternative download and found a newer one, 1.0.6 instead of

I have a fix!
By now the whole game and crack is downloaded, but not the update/patcher. So I googled for an alternative download and found a newer one, 1.0.6 instead of 1.0.4 (which is in this torrent). I also read that this version doesn't even check for cd-keys anymore, which means no crack needed!
So here are some install instructions that work for you that have downloaded 98% or more:
1. Un-rar the rar-files.
2. Mount the .toast file you get using the default DiskImageMounter
3. Copy the "Age of Empires III" application to your disk, like the application folder. Remember this location.
4. Go to: and download the zip-file
5. Unzip the zip-file
6. Run the "Age of Empires III 1.0.6 Updater (US)" application you get
7. Hit the "locate Age of Empires III" button and navigate to the application (the one from the .toast file)
8. Go through the rest of the updater and when it tells you to, close it.
9. Done! Go ahead and play! Multiplayer works like a charm :D
