Jaydagod, there is no cs5 to 5.5 upgrade so you get both installed if you dont remove cs5, just move the plugins folder from cs5 to 5.5.

I opened after effects and typed in the serial code, that worked fine. But after that it says. To use Adobe Creative Suite 5 master Collection Subscription Edition you must back an Adobe ID. And ofc I did that, when I try to log in it says "We are unable to start your subscription for Adobe Creative Suite 5 master Collection Subscription Edition ". i ran into a problem. after i renamed the host file and saved the new file from the folder into the etc folder. it does not let me copy extra links i had under the orignal host files. i mean once i copy and paste below the line where it says no # or space and then tried saving it. it shows wrong path and takes me back to the system 32 folder and ask me to save under etc file but nothing happens. are those links really important to resave or can i just let it go. i opened an account under superbay as well but i have no idea how to create a tread. the whole database and its queries are confusing lol

Very very easy torrent once you get the hang of it.... For me (Win7 64bit) all you need to do is just replace the host file with the one provided from the folder you extracted
Then well at least from a video I watch you go into cmd and put in ipconfig/flushdns and then just disconnect from the internet, and run the setup and put a key in and it should be done!
I even downloaded photoshop from thethingy and all I needed to do was just run the setup because I didn't need to replace the host file again... Thanks thethingy me love you long time :D

maxxdl, you need to double click on that one and it will uncompress to a set of yellow folders. this has the instructions. they're all the same for adobe stuff. block hosts, swap dl [before first start] this shit can be a headache at first but it's always the same and it's NECESSARY. your product will be cracked forever. thethingys' stuff always works. usually he puts a little video in the file about how to stop the hosts calling home. it's easy.

ranchild13, i don't think AA5 came out in 32 bit. the new mercury engine is only 64 bit from memory. they will stop using 32 bit soon. not enough adress space. go to 64 bit ASAP

Its forcing me to register and sign in , and everytime i do so, it says that i cant register/log in at the moment. and im forced to close it again. (Im having the same problem with the adobe illustrator aswell)

Hi guys.... so, perhaps this question seems really vague, but I've tried downloading several torrents AE but... for some damn reason, whenever I run the program (no matter what torrent I try), the program quits responding. Every time it's happened, I've uninstalled the program, removed all of the files with it, and tried another torrent. I've followed every instruction available, and it simply will not work, despite the fact that I more than meet the minimum system requirements. I've never had this problem before with any other torrents, and it's driving me crazy because I really need this program for college but can't afford it. I'm out of ideas and really desperate for a solution, so if anyone has any information, I'd be so thankful.

Can somebody help me solve this problem?
After i done all the host file and ipconfig thing, i click Set-up.exe, when i click Install it pop out a box saying tat "This program has been block for your protection"
what the hell is going on? i mean i am admin for this computer and it still say "an administrator has blocked you for running this program"
the program name is Set-up.exe and the publisher is not trusted...
can somebody tell me what to do?

Another great torrent thethingy! Got this up and running with no problems in under 2 minutes. Guys, paste this into your host file:
127.0.0.1 activate.adobe.com
127.0.0.1 practivate.adobe.com
It blocks Adobe from serial checking for all CS5 programs (maybe CS6 as well; never tried it). You don't need to add the 50 lines of code that everybody seems to be pushing. Got to wonder about those other 48 lines :(

For those of you who are clueless, you probably should read the instructions first. You have to copy the .dll cracked file (64 bit) and paste it into C/Program Files/Adobe/Adobe After Effects/Support Files over the original (amtlib.dll). Of course, you must "Copy and Replace" (Win Vista/7) or "replace" (Win 8). If you can't do this, search "RetroSpecMedia" on youtube and look a la his channel for the proper tutorial.
If you still can't, either you are blind and cannot follow simple instructions -- or you are extremely inexperienced, cannot learn, and are unworthy of this torrent.
Sorry for the abrasive rant, but this works flawlessly IF and ONLY IF you follow the given instructions by thethingy and/or the tutorial I have provided in the above link.

What is the website that he had in his hosts in the tutorial video he included on the files? After effects asked me for a new serial number so i figured i did something wrong with the hosts part. Anyway i just disconnect my internet whenever i launch the program and reconnect it once After effects opens perfectly
