For the non Irish some of the local references may pass you by but persevere it is more than worth it. btw for those who know of Joe the boys let him off very easy.

Since it is the top rated show on rte 2 ahead of programs such as LOST, DESPERATE HOUSEWIFES, SCRUBS etc, and may even if some commentaters are correct be the first show on rte 2 to top the network ratings, the idea that a second series will not be commissioned is bizzare.
