I'm confused by this torrent. Four disk's worth of data are in four zip files... so far so good. But then, while unzipping/unpacking the .rar file that comes out of them (and, yes, I'm using the right utility to do that), things start to fall apart. I'm sure there's a way to make it work, but it shouldn't be so difficult and counter-intuitive. (No insult intended, XCRYPT... I'm sure you meant well).
My suggestion to others who want to get the latest (as of this writing) version 4.1.7.1.1 is to use the following 4.1.6.1.1 torrent, install it per its instructions; then patch it; then launch SnappyFax and enter-in registration information; then use the update feature within SnappyFax to get up to 4.17.1.1.

I did it that way and it worked just fine. It's a circuitous route, I realize... but it nevertheless works.

Actually at the time of writting this comment the latest version is 4.1.18.1
I downloaded this torrent installed it and I used the Keygen to generate a key and every time it says that the key was generated with an illegal key generator. THIS IS BEFORE I did the update I am still running 4.1.17.1
So the keygen packaged along with this files DOES NOT work any more I have tried about 6 different keys.
The key generator that comes along with this DOES NOT work! DO NOT DOWNLOAD THIS FILE THE KEY GENERATOR DOES NOT WORK as of March 25 2008

The latest release is 4.18.1.1 sorry I made a typo in my last comment I am following what HarpGuy said and I am downloading 4.16.1.1

And then patching it and then letting it update
And that still does not work any more. It appears that this company has updated thier software.
You get the message "The Key Used to register this software has been revoked"
So obviously this company has changed their software and the method you described no longer works as of March 25 2008
