It DOES work!
But, its really laggy, i dont know why. I can run GTA: SA in middle-low settings without problems with frame limiter on, still, when it comes to 18WoS:ET2 it just wont stop lagging. Any ideas? Also, press "ESC" to ignore the logo and go to the main screen.

Works fine for me, Windows 7 x64, 275 gtx evga gfx card all on high settings. I love this game! To play and install game, use daemon tools to mount the game, run and play the game.

Is this game rated low because it's just like the rest, or is it really that much worse than Long Haul and Haulin'? I enjoyed both of those but this one is rated a lot lower than the 2 I've played and I was wondering if this is worth it.

I have downloaded the torrent and have played the game successfully. No, there isn't any virus in the download. I will list instructions to the downloaded torrent which is a folder.
There are 3 files when the folder is opened and they are as follows-
1) MSInfo Document (Opens your System Information)
2) sr-wset2.bin (BIN File)
3) sr-wset2.cue (Image File)
MSInfo Document is a system information file that lists your computer hardware resources etc..
sr-wset2.bin is the file that contains the game data.
sr-wset2.cue is the file that launches your Image Burning Program. It burns the data in sr-wset2.bin to a blank CD.
You would need a CD/DVD writer installed(Your CD drive having writing capability) on your PC/Laptop and a blank CD-R or a blank CD-RW to burn the game data and thus making a game CD for yourself. Nero is a well known CD/DVD burning program and has several versions so far. Many CD/DVD writers come with a complimentary copy of Nero software. There are also many Open Source or Free software on the internet that will burn a CD/DVD for you. I clicked on sr-wset2.cue to launch Nero software and loaded a blank CD-R to burn the game data on the loaded CD. After the burning process was completed, the game CD was ready.
Installing:
Right Click on your CD/DVD Writer's icon in My Computer and select 'OPEN'. Don't select 'AUTOPLAY'(The menu doesn't work!)! After you open the drive and see the contents, open the 'DirectX' folder and in it click 'dxsetup' to install Direct X Version 9. Now go back from this present DirectX folder to the previous menu(main drive menu you see after opening the drive) and you should see a file named 'setup_1.0_en_us'. Click on it and it should launch your Game Installation. Be patient! If it doesn't load, then restart the computer and close all applications (Internet connection, browsers, media players...etc..) running alongside! I would recommend right clicking on this installation file and selecting 'Open' after 20 seconds.
If your game doesn't play after installation, then your Graphics Drivers(Nvidia, ATI Radeon, etc.) need update or your Graphics Card isn't there or isn't compatible with the game.

What a poorly optimized game.
Installed fine, would not pass game rating on start up with normal shortcut. Laggy and constant pauses when ran with direct x shortcut.
AMD Radeon 7970 with 12.10 drivers. I guess its possible this setup is to new for the game and not compatible.

I've installed this and started my profile and got a load and went to deliver it, and it says to press enter to deliver. I press enter and nothing happens. Same with trying to get gas. I shut off the engine and then press and hold enter to fuel and nothing happens. Whats wrong with it?

The game works right away after extraction. The exe is already unprotected, no need for a crack.
ET2 includes the same 3 areas from ET, but they are expanded and two entirely new locations have been added. The physics have been significantly improved in this iteration of the game engine. All trucks now have a large mass. They take a while to get up to speed, and conserve momentum, which makes driving from the keyboard with short bursts of gas smoother. It is now also possible to slide on ice when steering too sharply.
A map overlay, damage and remaining time indicators have been added to the HUD. Because trucks accelerate slower, most time limits are now very tight, and encourage arcade style driving.
This is probably the last game where GPU internal anti-aliasing works before they moved to that Deferred crap in ETS2 and resorted to a custom supersampled 'scaling'. This game works beautifully under the default GL renderer.
