Content ------- This package contains all the necessary images for a Windows 3.1 installation on a desktop or a virtual PC. How to Install -------------- 1. Download your favorite virtual PC software (e.g. Microsoft Virtual PC or VMware). 2. Create a virtual machine with at least 16MB RAM and 200MB hard disk space. 3. Install MS DOS using the three provided .img image files. 4. Install the CD ROM driver for DOS using the image file DosCdDriver.img. You can find more detailed information on how to do this within the image in a text file. 5. After installing the CD ROM driver DOS will be able to access the ISO files via the CD ROM drive of your virtual PC. Both the Windows 3.1 installation image and the Norton Commander installation image are in a ISO format. 6. Capture the Norton Commander image file within your virtual PC, and install the software. 7. Capture the Windows image file within your virtual PC, and install the software.
