Description:

Mr. Bungle is an "Avant-Garde Alt. Metal" group from Eureka California, hens the name of their final album. Mr. Bungle released 4 demo tapes and 3 complete studio albums. The band was initially started by Mike Patton, Trey Spruance, Trevor Dunn, Jed watts, and Theo Lengyel. They were high-school buddies who released their first demo tape "The Raging Wrath of the Easter Bunny" in 1986. This torrent includes every single recorded song by Mr. Bungle (with the exception of some covers and live recordings) The .zip file conceals the following: Demo Tapes: The Raging Wrath of the Easter Bunny..(1986) Bowl of Chile.........................(1987) Goddammit I Love America!.............(1988) OU818.................................(1989) Studio Albums: Mr. Bungle [Self-Titled Album Debut]..(1991) Disco Volantë.........................(1995) California............................(1999) Other: Covers................................(1979-2004) The covers album includes a bunch of Mr. Bungle's most popular covers including "The Super Mario Brothers Theme." I threw that together myself from the "Caca Volantë" (an old Mr. Bungle fansite) when it still existed. the covers album does not include "Hit Me Baby One More Time" BECAUSE IT IS NOT ACTUALLY BY MR. BUNGLE. It's actually done by "The Ping-Pang Band" and they certainly deserve credit for such wonderful works. Just extract the .zip file to get your music. All files are in high-quality .mp3's and tagged correctly. (I made sure of that) The .zip file password is as follows: PASSWORD: "pattonisgod" ...without the quotes. Mr. Bungle ROCKS!!!!! --- !!!!!!SEED THE TORRENT OR MR. NICE GUY WILL COME AND RAPE YOU IN YOUR SLEEP!!!!!!

Thanks!
Maybe it's just foobar2k but I had to fix the VBR headers on California and Disco Volante to display the proper track duration. :)

garymobarry (2010-06-21)

About the tags. I was using a great old player called "media monkey". I used it because iTunes was slow for me at the time and that thing boasted fast speeds with a library of over 100,000 songs. The new iTunes is far more compatible with more music, so these songs are tagged correctly for MediaMonkey and Windows Media Player.
In iTunes, they are simple to fix. Nugg explains.

A close friend used to work with Theo Lengyel (in his normal "day" job) and I was lucky enough to attend a house party that Theo and Mike Patton also attended...
This was in the Bungle-hiatus years between "The Clown ALbum" (as we all called it) and my personal favorite "Disco Volante."
Faith No More was HUGELY popular and the majority of the people at the party were abuzz with the knowledge that this guy named Theo (unknown to most in attendance) was going to show, and that he was going to attempt to bring Patton (revered by nearly ALL in attendance) along. Even those who didn't know or like Bungle were quite excited to meet THE Mike Patton... and OH MAN did he ever make an impression...
So, they roll up, Patton showing obvious displeasure at being kinda pounced on by fanboys and starfuckers alike... I remember a drunk fratboy type asking him to sing "the one sing" and then launching into a drunk rendition of the chorus to "Epic." Also, one particularly drunk and slutty girl telling Patton that her boyfriend (who she pointed out) had given her permission to have sex with him... Patton looked her up and down and said "mmm no thanks" then laughed loudly and walked away... I think that may have helped to sparked the "show" that Mr Patton treated the party to...
Maybe 15-20 mins after appearing, when the wave of people pestering him subsided somewhat, and he'd had a chance to meet the hosts and some of Theo's other friends, as well as get a couple (of the many, many he would have that night) drinks... he said something to Theo with a decidedly evil look on his face, then asked the party's host if he could "do something to liven the party up" (or similar words, this WAS around 20yrs ago)... this was quickly agreed to.
Patton turned the music down, and addressed all the party goers in earshot, saying that he had something "really cool," a video, that he wanted to show everyone if that was ok... there was a unanimous and quite loud agreement, and as he went out to the (I assume Theo's) car to retrieve his item the room began to cram full-er than it had been.
He quickly returned, beaming with joy, VHS tape in hand, and said something about being on tour and seeing some truly amazing things. People were excitedly murmuring to each other...
After making certain that the TV and VCR were set up properly, (and switching the music off completely so the tape would play thru the stereo) he puts in the tape, presses play, and then walked back to the rear of the room where Theo, myself, the party's hosts and some others were standing.
After a few minutes of what appeared to be very low-fi camcorder footage of a Faith No More soundcheck, (again, a wave of excited murmuring circulated... what a brilliant set-up) the intended content began.
HARDcore, S&M style, gay porn. Complete with fisting and shit play. I found it utterly hilarious, as did the party's host... (we are both sick fucks with a very demented sense of "humor") Theo seemed somewhat slightly embarrassed but thoroughly unsurprised. Nearly every other person was visibly and/or loudly upset. Many people left the room instantly, but when some piss and shit started getting smeared around, and one guy ran outside vomiting, the "tv room" all but cleared, with many giving Patton a wide berth, and weird looks, as they passed.
Many people stopped to ask if Patton was gay, or why he put that on, or other variations of "WTF?"... IIRC, one or two (likely deeply closeted and sadly confused) young men quite angrily attempted confronting Mike, and were promptly told to leave by the host... and, on their way out were very loudly throwing many homophobic insults both at MP, and the rest of the "fucking sick fags"(etc) at the party.
Patton responded to all comments and "askance" looks with nothing but HUGE smiles and the occasional lifting of his glass with a "cheers" or "enjoying the party, I hope?" etc...
Among the very few things I said to him that night was "so, big fan of poo porn eh?" to which he responded "Huh? Oh hell no, stuff's fucking disgusting, that's why I'm back he

back here"
(rambling got on top of me and I got cut off)
To OP: THANKS TONS for posting this it'll stay seeded for Æons. I notice some gems in the 'covers' that seem like they are from the 1992 Berkeley set that was on Caca Volante back in the day... Do you by chance have that whole set?
Or maybe at least the jaw-dropping wizard-of-oz themed cover of "Existential Blues/Pencil Neck Geek"?
Either way, thanks again for this awesome upload!
Like I said, it's set to "perma-seed"
And, again, thanks again! (again)
:D
