Abercrombie is the bad-ass of fantasy literature. If you like his stuff them please go out and buy the books. Support awesome talents like Abercrombie but feel free to download all the bilge shat out by James Patterson or Lee Child that you like.

CB, Lee Child is one of the best at what he does, which is something completely different than Abercrombie.
Anyway, The Heroes is the best war story I've ever read and I do not particularly like fantasy.
In fact, I wouldn't describe it as fantasy. Abercrombie creates an environment that feels very familiar, but one can't quite put a finger on exactly where and when it is.

First, thanks for uploading the file. It works seamlessly.
Second, Abercrombie is a very good writer, but after the excellent First Law Trilogy, I lost all momentum after Best Served Cold and Heroes...has, well, left me cold. I can only take so much blood, gore, and dearth of genuinely likeable characters for so many pages. Gritty fantasy eventually wears on the eye.
