I recommend and use one system for years - CoreCodec for H264 and part of DivX7 for AAC. Both are proved perfect, fastest and provide seamless playback up to 1080p on new generation of computers. Newer NVIDIA graphic CPU decode H264 using dedicated subroutines directly served from CoreCodec (I have ATI card, just in case you've asked yourself). Any problems one can have come from wrong playback system, malfunctioning device or lack of knowledge. For instance, any so called "jerky" playback of "system-heavy" 720p comes from insufficient CPU and graphic engine power or simply - overloaded computer. Use of ddshow filters and "codecs" is suicidal. This is not Russian 720p Matroska format ("official" 720p) and completely different setup is required (extremely high bit-rates of .mkv 720p to some extension "hide" bad encoding style). In low bit-rate H264, such as mine, those errors and bad technique cannot be hidden and therefore are avoided as much is possible. Any blurriness of video comes from less-than-recommended media player. VLC and few other players are most versatile and good - but quality is 10-20% lower. Any block-ness comes from "system-too-slow" situation, when decoding engine of one's device become over-capacitated and cannot process all frames as it supposed. On "I have no video" and "I have no sound" I don't waste my time. MP4 is absolutely ISO 14496-1 compliant. There is no B-frames, no CABAC entropy in 272p and 360p, no strange filtering and no AV weirdness of any kind. Recommended resolution for computers is 1024x768 (no matter frame-size). PS3 + HDMI cable + newer TV have been reported as best combination. I am very proud on sound quality and hence I recommend use of stereo system and proper loudspeakers (connect Line Out of Soundcard or standalones with Line In of any Stereo rack). I encode H264 for six years and I have experienced (first-hand) any problem one might have or imagine. I have heard almost every ‘complaint’ out there and would, if asked POLITELY, be happy to answer questions and give as much help as humanly possible I always have. hi just was on trip for a week just back and heard of quark sad to bid bye to it well i was seeding all the flash forward and lost this week wen i was gone(actually my pc was on whole week atleast 18 hrs a day and to my amazing i had uploaded 9.5 gb with my slow 30 kbps i was filled with joy that i had uploaded that much....wish there were more ppl like that.guys seed and see the happiness u get.

Yes - I hope now that everybody understands - I have no idea how to write for TV or Movies. First Alias , now lost. Star trek wasnt explained very well either, its just lucky that star trek fans dont mind quantum time theory mumbo jumbo that doesnt make sense. :)

btw. to answer the original question, ben is still on the island, the pilot wasnt on the original plane so he's not dead yet. Jack also doesnt have a son because the whole flash sideways was just a made up hallucination.
Funniest thing I've read is that someone claimed this ending was better than the sopranos ending - thats lol.

Crazy has other issues they need to work out. In fact, there?s usually a lot going on when the crazy decides to erupt. The actual triggering event is typically only the last straw. A lot of little things had been building up unresolved before the eruption point.
Crazy has to save face. At some point, crazy recognizes the mess that they?ve made. But they'll never admit that thay have been wrong. Admitting that would be equal to saying others "I am crazy, but I cannot see that".
So, I don?t argue with crazy. I?ve even quit poking crazy with a stick for my own amusement . Nor do I defend myself against crazy. For one thing, my life speaks for itself. If the accusations made by someone matches the experience people have had with me, then so be it. Secondly, crazy speaks for itself. Most people recognize it as such.
The bottom line is that I try to ignore crazy and leave it alone to work out its issues. And since I?m not going anywhere, crazy always has a place to return to.

@jjabrams: 720p stands for 720 pixels. Nothing more. This encode has 1280x720, it is 4.5 TIMES SMALLER and those morons haven't figured out yet what is wrong with them and their skewed anticipation. In fact - they cannot.
Sane people can make calls, judge, weight-out by putting the things in perspective, using several factors - not just - one. As my friend once said on mininova "Oh, most people do have size "issues"". I answered "Thank-god, I have not - in any way thinkable."
What drove them insane is a fact that I am one of many, meanwhile you can find dozens of H264 movies in 720p UNDER 700MB. In the same time they fed their ISPs, burning money for nothing and times never have been harder, right?
I needed three minute to write this shit down.
In these three minutes NINETY PEOPLE have died out of hunger.
Meanwhile, pricks and morons have burned tens thousands of dollars for what? For 3.055GB big shit which would be replaced by BluRay in month time.
