Decent movie, give it a shot, better than 75% of the crap out today. INDISCREET (1958) Anna Kalman is an accomplished actress who has given up hope of finding the man of her dreams. She is in the middle of taking off her face cream, while talking about this subject with her sister, when in walks Philip Adams. She loses her concentration for a moment as she realizes that this is the charming, smart, and handsome man she has been waiting for. They begin a love-at-first-sight relationship, but she finds out that he has been keeping a secret from her. When she learns of his lie, she becomes furious and works out a plan for revenge. I would say everything is crap today, there certainly is a lot of it though.
Things certainly were simpler and cleaner years ago. I think today some comedians rely way to much on vulgarity for humor. But there are some very good comedians and actors out there.
I also think the mediocrity is further stoked by there being so many media outlets and hence the need for so much "entertainment". You can't possibly produce that much quality.
