Description:

2009 January Grand Sumo Tournament Kokugikan Tokyo Day 5 I think all is good. Had to mix the live with the re-run as there was the weekly EBT and lost some AM video and sound. I do think all is good and the video looks great! Enjoy! - SciFi-Sumo - thepiratebay.se

Thanx a lot SciFi-Sumo as always!

Am I the only one who has problems with the video playback? Is seems to me that both Day 4 and Day 5 has encoding errors in it, and because of that neither my PC nor my stand-alone DVD can play them without jerkiness :S Is anyone else having the same problem and is there a way to cure to it?

Huarachi (2009-01-16)

Hi Xabster,
Day 4 seemed to play perfectly for me with VLC Player. Day 5 looks OK too but haven't watched all the way through yet.
The only problem I've come across was day 3 was out of sync, which is a common problem when encoding large files. But I think everyone experienced this.
Hope this helped :-)

When i re-encoded last days (for mobile) in VirtualDub video had the problems, but in AutoGK - not. :) (30 min for re-encode in AutoGK BTW).
I watch any video in BSPlayer without problems.

I'm using Media Player Classic and have no complaints.
Oh, and time for another thank you.

Xabster (2009-01-17)

Thanks everyone for your suggestions. I tried VLC and it worked like wonders. I don't know what is causing the problen in MPC (Media Player Classic), maybe my installed DivX codec is outdated. Though my Pio DVD still can't play these new encodes it's no prob...at least it works on the PC :) So, thank you SciFi-Sumo for the link of the program, and also for your continious hard work !

Hello Herlock, I'm really interested in your mobile (mp4?) encodes. Would you please tell me how to get them?
In case you prefer a private communication, please send me an e-mail to: asysan.AT.gmail.c o m
Last but not least, Thks SciFi-Sumo for bringing us every other day of the Sumo Bashos, please keep feeding us with all these quality encodes. A very small comment: There's a lot of stand-alone DVD Players not compatible with the mp4 container.
