The prime universe has also found the parts and assembled their version of the doomsday device, though prior to her return to the parallel universe, Fauxlivia was able to withdraw a key component and send it to the parallel universe. Upon her return, Fauxlivia discovers she is pregnant with Peter's child. Well, I am doing this for fun! That(!) is the most important thing to me! Having fun with what I do here! You should be happy, that I don't let any crappy comment like yours spoil the fun for me ;).
The quality loss of the 1st episode is minimal and as far as the self aggrandizement goes, that is one way to see it. The other point of view would be, that I am doing those teaser and trailer thingies for fun! I simply don't care if anyone likes it or hates it ;).

thanks for the download.
no need to rip into @redactedwv, though. those trailers at the beginning of the first episode are REALLY annoying. part of the reason I download torrents is to get away from the commercials. even sites like Hulu have mandatory commercial breaks. I'm certainly not faulting them for it, I understand how funding for stuff like that works, but that doesn't mean I have to watch it.
you, on the other hand, are doing this voluntarily, rather than attempting to run a business (and thus make a profit). if you cram some trailers onto the first episode, I'm allowed (as is anyone else) to be really, really annoyed. I'm even allowed to bitch about it, without you undermining anyone's arguments without some bullshit fallacy, "if you don't upload, you can't complain."
in conclusion, commercials = annoying. but all in all, the whole thing was great. audio and video were good, and thanks.

Did I like that the first episode here was muddled with his crappy trailer? No, did I sit through it? Well the one at the end I did but only because I was too lazy to get up and skip to the next episode.
Point is all of these episodes are readily available here from other sources, nobody put a gun to your head and made you download this one, nobody put a gun to your head and forced you to watch his crappy trailers (sorry dude but they were crappy).
Just take the 5 seconds it takes to skip past them and move on with your life.

Lol at some of the comments regarding the build in trailers in manOtor's torrents.
I remember the VHS time and those were full of trailers. I loved those trailers cuz you got to see what was coming..
I rented about two videos a weekend which contained an average of three to five trailers each ! My girlfriend loved them too and although it meant that i had to watch the occasional chickflick it also meant happy times on the couch :P
Also, OP and others take a lot of effort and time in uploading good stuff which you download for the price of fuck all !!!

Simple Solution A: Cut the trailer from the first episode and include it in the torrent as a separate file anyway.
Simple Solution B: Get off the uploader's back, suck it up, learn how to use video editing software, and cut the trailer from the episode yourself once you're done d/l'ing.
Simple Solution C: Enjoy the fact that you just picked up 7 and a half gigs of FREE episodes with NO TRAILER, and thank the uploader for this good quality torrent.

i normally dont give bad reviews but this turrent desearves one. i could only put up with the first episode and after that deleted the entire thing.
there was an 11 minute trailer in the begining, and at the end. but thats not the least of it, the quality was also poor but the audio was good.

1- the add in content/trailers in episode one can be easily cut out using solveigmm which leaves encoding/etc for the uncut portion untouched and takes about 40 seconds on a second gen core i7 mobile cpu. start is at 3:12:25. end is at 46:20:44.
2- episode 1 uses a significantly poorer bitrate than the rest of the season to accomodate the trailer content while maintaining a similar filesize to the rest of the season. out of 380MB with trailers only 288MB are used for episode 1 itself.
conversely the remainder of the episodes devote 356-360MB fully to the episode with consequently higher quality.
3- personally i can live with the trailers, the ending trailer segment was decently cut but the visual quality was a bit poor, the intro trailer had enough positional issues to show tearing on some lcd's around mid display. nice work overall though.
4- please consider making the trailer embedded files larger to accommodate better overall bitrate, both for the actual episode(for those who may choose to cut the trailers), and the trailers themselves. in this case a filesize of around 450MB would have covered the trailers and normal episode bitrate without the heavy lossiness. maybe push to 500MB to up the trailer visual quality and remove the graininess.
5- remainder of episodes are as per the eztv at airdate releases, so no question on quality.
6- nice job overall, and thank you for uploading.
@satori88:the resolution is considered hdtv due to aspect ratio and encoding, so while base is not keyframed at hd, it holds up under upscaling well without requiring 1.2GB per episode that 720/1080 hd keyframing would require.
think ota broadcast hd, not FULLHD.

For fragiles mind, this is not, I repeat, this is not, science whatshowever. Actually Fringe sucks a little. The professor is... coming out of a depressed script writer, a full combinaison of cliches.
You want so see real fringe experiment, watch Breaking Bad (eztv team is now uploading the S05 evrery monday @ about 6 am - thieves don't sleep).
I use to be an ancient chemist and now a professional physicist, and I assure both you and your viewers that Breaking Bad is awfully accurate in terms of scientific consulting.

Well i lost count on at witch episode i stoped watching Fringe, but they just startet showing it from start on TV, the 2 first episodes of Season 1, and again i was hooked, i can remember that i stoped watching it, when there was x2 Olivia. also i did not watch evry episode, so got 2 messy 4 my taste, but gotta love when u can DL a hole season with 1 click, so TX manOtor!! And yes, if its taken from guys/groups like "eztv" & "vtv" quality use 2 be ok, else lern the settings of the "new" VLC player, try 2 play with the settings, plenty settings that can do a little bit to make picture better, or so it seem for me!
