Sunny is found dead and Scudder falls off the wagon. Sarah tries to tempt him with alcohol and sex while Scudder attempts to infiltrate Angel's business, posing as a dirty cop. This results in a San Pedro warehouse shootout involving Angel and a mutual friend, "Chance" Walker. Also been looking for this movie a LONG time now. Oddly it doesn't show up on Netflix or anywhere else. I know this wasn't a huge blockbuster at the time but imo it's certainly worthy of watching and has a very good story line to it. Not sure why it's so hard to find but it is very much appreciated to find it here :)
