Sad to see this soon to be classic show go off the air. Better to end while on a high, I suppose.
Is this the same as "It`s been a Gas"?

No, this I don't think it is the same as "It's Been a Gas".
There were 2 specials about Corner Gas last night: an etalk special and "It's Been a Gas". I am in the process of preparing them for upload.
The etalk special should be up in a few hours with the other special being uploaded within the next 12 hours or so.
