the read me says to install first and then extract directory with the crack document that was supplied. But quick question. Please help; call me studpid but im not sure how to do that if my computer doesn't give me the extract option.

The instructions tell you to extract but there is nothing to extract. Just install the software, but don't run it immediately. Replace the original "protein.dll" file with the 1 in provided here then run the program.

I got the protein from 4share to work I think, and it lets me download the sound packets, but it won't let me update the program, I still need a serial. Is this an issue or can I still run everything normally without it?

the protein ddl does not work, at least not in windows 7 64bit.
The patch does the job, it takes away the 7 days trial, but it does not unlock it. You can download the soundpools and stuff but it won't install them, for that you need a serial. So that's it, you get a demo version working forever with no cool stuff, so let's wait for a proper crack and keep working with V17

Crack obviously doesnt work, your basically just downloading the trial.
as for the alternate patch ppl posted, only works half way. you can download at the add-ons but when you go to install it just tells you to buy the full version on all but two of the packages.
I recommend looking for a working v17...

I am an advanced user and I have cracked plenty of files before... Anyways, I did this process step by step and it didn't work. I uninstalled and reinstalled and followed procedure numerous times. So I uninstalled it again and found another file and I can assure those of you who are having difficulties cracking this nut lol, that I found an alternative that works 100%.
So, make sure you uninstall the current copy of this program you have installed and the other two files that goes with it as well. Then go to this torrent link and download.

There are detailed instructions on how to run the patch and I can assure you that it does work.
