For Xtorrent 1.1 (build 53) Instructions: 1) Download the disk image from the official site. (http://www.xtorrentp2p.com/) 2) Install the software wherever you want. 3) Run the software. Quit it. 4) Drag the file "org.xlife.Xtorrent.plist" into /Users/yourusername/Library/Preferences and change the existing file. Now you can use Xtorrent with any restriction. Enjoy! PS. I have tried it several times and it always work. I hope the same for you.

This is a property list file which saves the preferences and other user-changeable data for a program.
This file is not working for me (and I know what I'm doing).
2 possible reasons it won't work for *some* people:
1. If you are another user than the admin, then there are 2 copies of .plist files for every program on your computer in 2 different places: the one that the uploader of this torrent mentions (which belongs to a user), and another one which belongs to the computer as a whole (roughly). It's in /Library/Preferences, so putting a copy of this torrents file there may help people.
2. PPC and Intel differences of structure come into play. >>Ernest_RubberDuck, what kind of Mac do you have? Once we know that, then possibly this file will only work on his type of computer.
Let's get this cleared up, because this is a great program. ( :
