this is the virus total result,the keygen is detected as a trojan by many of the AV's.Its a false +ve though.If u wish u can run it in a sandbox..or its your choice NOT TO DOWNLOAD THE FILE.

You may have internet connection while install program and keys. TRY AGAIN WITHOUT ANY INTERNET CONNECTION , hope that help.
Ps. Do not register or update program or the key will be back to haunt you :-)

Downloaded. Turned off Wifi. Installed. Opened. It refuses to let you touch it without registering, so having no connection, I registered, then it says there is an update. It refuses to open unless you update. How in the world can it find an update when I have 0 connectivity?
If I click NO on the update, the program just closes out.

First of all thanks to Dude for uploading this. It works like a charm but only if you do certain things that you are required to do before installing. Am a noob myself but even then i would try and explain it step by step.
1. Download the torrent, don't worry there is no virus in this, it's absolutely clean.
2. Along with this download another program by the name of RunAsDate, google it and you would find it on top. Download this too.
3. Turn off your internet connection and install the fake webcam application.
4. When fake webcam opens, it would ask you for an e-mail id for registration, simply enter any e mail id that doesnt even exist.
5. Go to License and option for registration and enter the code generated by the keygen and bingo your software is licensed.
6. NOW THE MOST IMPORTANT PART - run the RunAsDate utility and give the path where the fake webcam is installed and change the date to pre 2007, could be anything, lets say 2000 and check on immediate in the runasdate box and then give a filename and save it on the desktop and run it from there everytime.

Although, really, all I ended up needing is the keygen. (apparently 'keygen' is retard-ese for "TROJAN" lol)
When I installed the included version of Fake Webcam, I noticed, like 'digitaltitan' did, that (even though I had the internet completely disconnected) the program somehow "knew" that there is a newer version available and refused to run. So I uninstalled it, then got the official trial version from the website (fakewebcam.com) and (disconnected from teh interwebz) installed it and used the keygen to... well, to 'gen' a 'key' naturally. You have to give the keygen the 'ID' that the trial program assigns you after you give it your (fake) email addy... {I use something like: [email protected]}
Make sure also to switch the keygen from voice changer to fake webcam, and hit 'generate' again...
[AND/OR, use the keygen to get full versions of ALL FOUR PROGRAMS on the website...]
