I don't know what type of connection you're using, but it's not a good idea to seed up to 10 torrents simultaneously. You should seed 1 torrent until completion before adding another torrent to upload.
Getting a few kb every 5 or 6 minutes is ridiculous! You said this is your first torrent -- learn how to seed a torrent to completion in an efficient manner before trying to seed many torrents at one time!

That's real good news man, but don't forget, try to seed files that are not "freeware", the idea of pirate bay is to save people money by seeding programs that normally cost loads of money.
Also, even on broadband, if you try to seed too many files at one time, your upload speed will be divided downwards.
Seed one file, when you got a couple of seeders you can then seed another, and so on...
