Description:
This is a music mod for Fallout 3 that replaces ambient and GNR music as well as few music effects in the game. If you want your Fallout 3 to sound more hostile and post-apocalyptic, this is the mod to grab.

Sorry for the slow up speed currently; I'm uploading the file to No Mutants Allowed, which eats most of my connection at the moment. Should be done in a moment.fisIvinden (2009-05-27)
can't get more post-apocolyptic than "I don't want to sett the world on fire"Sven the swede (2009-05-28)
The Fallout 3 soundtrack is great and you will most likely get disappointed if you replace it with something else.Ceekayed (2009-05-28)
Sven the swede: Your input is appreciated, but you're dismissing a few points; a) there are people who are not quite as happy with the FO3 OST as you are, and b) you're commenting a product you haven't tested.Have a nice day.
The installer takes a back up of the OST by the way, so you can always rollback if you're disappointed.

Sven the swede: Fallout 3 OST isn't so great for people who love Fallout from older installments. This modification comes closer to what we heard in Fallout 1 and 2. If you are happy with Fallout 3 soundtrack, you probably shouldn't bother with this. Thanks for the upload, I'll keep seeding it for the long time.

I thought this is a great idea. I never liked the songs in fallout 3 and i got bored of the ones i did like pretty fast. Thanks for the mod, cant wait to use it!KennyT (2009-06-03)
Well i tried it out and i was disapointed. Rock songs like tilt took the place of classics like "i dont want to set the world on fire". And while it may sound good it is fairly dissapointing. I would reccomend not using this, i can almost gaurentee replacing the classic soundtrack of fallout 3 with rock songs will leave you dissapointed.Ceekayed (2009-06-03)
KennyT: There's no rock (a few of the gnr tracks are kinda metal'ish with electric guitars and stuff though), and TiLT's track is definitely not even close. If you don't want to replace the GNR tracks, you can roll them back, as the installer backs up the original soundtrack. If you love your Fallout 3 soundtrack and dislike electronic music like ambient and industrial, then this is obviously not the mod you'd want.

I love electronic music, especially Ambient and Industrial...I'm really thinking of using this mod, but just something to clarify: Is there any vocals in this? I really despise the use of vocals, and I want the soundtrack to be 100% instrumental.

I tried it out, and I love it...It's great to get rid of the annoying grandpa music.
