Star Trek : Deep Space 9 - Season 1

I was surprised that there wasn\'t a complete collection of DS9 on TBP - I got the complete series from a friend at work and I would put them up for everyone. I\'m not sure of the quality and this is my first torrent, so bear with me. Other seasons will follow once the swarm has enough seeds to sustain itself.

I'm still downloading, so I won't comment on the actual quality of these videos.
However, IF the audio is out of sync, all decent media players should have the ability to adjust the audio/video timing. Look around in the audio options, and you should be able to find somewhere that'll let you enter a delay (negative or positive) for the audio.
Just takes a little tweaking to fix. Not the end of the world, and certainly no reason not to be able to watch a video.

The Quality of this rip is really shitty. They are 350 MB episodes but appear similar to 70 MB files for mobile devices.
Sound is extremely bad and sounds like a wide range of the sound spectra has simply been removed.
Encoding is crappy. Jumping / forwarding in the video creates artifacts that only disappear after 5-10 seconds, really annoying. (Using VLC/Mplayer)
Has this been ripped form old VCR tapes? It definitely seems so.

further ... awesome rip from the eps I've watched so far, looking forward to DL'ing the other seasons as well, no complaints here, dont know what others are winging about .. I'm using vlc on my mac, no hassles with picture or sound quality at all, Sync is fine btw. Good work AndyPod, cheers dude!!

I don't know what mrfr0g is talking about. These videos look and sound great to me. No sync issues either.
