Why not in French, Svimling? Asterix and Obelix is after all a cartoon/film version of the original French comic strip by Rene Goscinny and Albert Uderzo, and I think it's great that the animators stuck with French. Not all jokes that are originally spoken in another language translate well into English...
However, shane42, do you know if all of the films have English subtitles please?

Hey all ;p.....As Eire France said....the cartoons are in english,,,but finding "Asterix in Britain" in english was a treat!!!

I always use this codec pack fer my windows media player (i use divx player too) But there hasnt been one movie that i couldnt play on at least one of the 2 players ;D

I've only watched part of "Asterix and Obelix vs. Cesar" thus far, but the English subtitle file provided is horribly translated.
That said, each of the english subtitle files I've found on the net are just as bad (same source maybe?).
