As the project ³± ²³ grew more serious, the three decided to put a full band together and added Brian ³± ²³ Lee (guitars/vocals), Brian Sherman (guitars/vocals) and Joel Maske (drums). ³± ²³ ³± ²³ The band has enjoyed an early level of success due to the networking possibilites ³± ²³ of MySpace as well as old-fashioned word of mouth. Shock Stars sold out their ³± ²³ first public performance headlining the legendary Double Door in Chicago. More ³± ²³ recent performances include a headlining gig at the Metro in Chicago during the ³± ²³ industry event MOBfest and an appearance at Milwaukee's Summerfest opening for ³± ²³ AFI. ³± ²³ ³± ²³ Along with success on the live circuit, Shock Stars have had their songs played ³± ²³ regularly on Chicago's alternative radio station Q101 during a segment called ³± ²³ Crash Test Radio. They have also received critical praise on the industry ³± ²³ website Kings of A&R (www.kingsofar.com) and are still a featured artist on the ³± ²³ main page. Shock Stars also has been featured as a Pure Pick on the website ³± ²³ PureVolume (www.purevolume.com). ³± ²³ ³± ²³ Shock Stars continue to write and rehearse frequently and plan to keep building ³± ²³ on the success they have already achieved by continuously releasing new material ³± ²³ and playing shows.
