just because its 320 kbps for example, wont mean the sound quality is better, depending on the source, it can be worst then 128 for example.
thats why vbr is so smart, coz it shows the real quality of the sound, despite cbr nor abr, that you can chose the kbps u want despite the quality, coz vbr used from 32 to 320 variable, depending how the songs demands for the quality. if a song has a silence gap for example, it would be encoded, for that part, at 32 kbps, but if it has lots of instrumentals and voice, it would probably use 320 kbps, and thats how it goes all the track...
