FYI, BitTorrent doesn't preserve permissions, you will need to do:
chmod a+x *.pkg/Contents/Resources/postflight

[[[[djinn]]]] (2008-05-30)

ok...
in terminal, cd
chmod a+x *.pkg/Contents/Resources/postflight
installed...it did not fail on postinstall-Yeah!
restarted
sudo /opt/kde4-deps/bin/update-kde-mac.sh
then:
/opt/kde4/bin/kbuildsycoca4
the problem is that in konquer and others, I get no icons just the drop down arrows...did I miss something? do i need to restart again after:
/opt/kde4/bin/kbuildsycoca4

Some people are getting icons and some not, it's not clear why yet. :(
If you can give any more detailed debugging information, that would help.

sure thing rangerick, just say what you need and I think that most here will try to help...
