Monsieur Gainsbourg Revisited

"Monsieur Gainsbourg Revisited" is an album of English-language covers of songs by the late French eccentric Serge Gainsbourg. It features some of the most in-demand names from the indie rock world (see the track listing below) and they all do a fantastic job here. This was originally released in 2003. This particular version is from the 2006 North American edition and features two bonus tracks. This is my own rip from the CD in lossless (FLAC) format. I hope this album helps get more Anglo-Americans turned on to Gainsbourg's bizarre and wonderful music. --- "M.
