you need a bigger hard drive or clear more hard drive space.
chances are if you computer only has a 40g hard drive this game will be too much for your comp to handle.

You need to change your partition from fat 32 to ntfs(it doesnt have size limits)

there is only one seed, but im already at 15% with constant speed at about 300kb. There are about 900 peers from what i see.
at smokes69, i dont not know when or how long it will take before they can crack the other version of the game, but all i noe is that the other version is being worked on.
from what i heard, this version was cracked in 15 mins yesterday and due to the unfortunate attacks of many chinese gaming forums, this released was delayed until today

at smokes, if you cant connect to a seed, it doesnt mean that other people cant connect, because right now i am connected to one and everyone is downloading quite nicely with the second highest at 25%, as more seeds are available you will be able to connect to them

there are 3 folders
1. A FOLDER WITH 3 EXE Files, these are files that you need to install in order to run the game, some of you might already have them but just install it to make sure
2. A FOLDER WITH 1 EXE File, this is the original NBA2K9.exe
3. A FOLDER WITH 4 REGISTRY Files, at this point i think u might have to run all 4 of these files before playing

well the screen shot that that guy posted is on VISTA, I'm not sure what version but I'm 100% sure its not V64 because that has way more compatibility issues than V32.
Now I tried replacing the 60 MB .exe file with the smaller 43 MB but that gives me some sort of error code and the game or loading image doesnt even show. I'm fucking heated and as soon as I can install those reg files ill be satisfied.

Mine said the same thing (I have XP SP2). Don't worry about it. Just install DirectX, and dotnetfx. The other two don't work.
For those who didn't install anything...It is probably a good idea to install DirectX and dotnetfx as it could increase the games performance.

it's probably because the game was installed originally on a 32bit OS, i would imagine they might have to do a legit install on a 64bit OS and create a new package for 64bit users :S

Did anyone have AND solve the same problem as I have. I can get in to the game, do everything in the menu's, but as soon as its about to enter a game, it just closes and youre back in windows?

Hey,you have to be a bit more specific.
I think that your problem (with the black screen),is specifically with your video card drivers.
Tell us the version of those.
I'm at 75 %,steady at bout 150 kb/s,and when i dl i promise to try all the cracks out there,and on different OS (Win Xp Sp2,Win Vista Ultimate).
If some managed to play it,don't worry,we will find out how.
I have experience in this :)

Yes I know how Megashares works and its cheaper and better than RS in my opinion. Link cards are cheaper than the cost of this game and everyone would have it today, is the main point I'm trying to make.

There are alot of variables in how you set up utorrent that dictate your download/upload speeds.
Under Options>>Speedguide>>Test if port is forwarded properly.
Nonforwarded or closed ports is the most common reason for poor speeds and/or lack of connecting peers.
Also, check out

and read up on ways to configure utorrent for better speeds. The info is on an older version of utorrent but much of the settings never change.

if you apply the lastest CRACK FIX, and you get a blackscreen when u start, it probably means that your video card does not meet the minimum system requirement.

I think it would just be better if we downloaded the Reloaded version. It might be annoying, but at least it's somewhat guaranteed to work properly. Besides, speeds are terrible on this torrent now.
I too downloaded first the 7GB version, then this one... then started downloading the Reloaded release.
Oh well... all good things come to those who wait :P

Sa mga pinoy, super ok sya. Kung di gumana yung crack, may link ng crack na sinabi sila, back read na lang kayo. Ok din sya sa 7300GT Sonic ng Palit. mga tol di nagana to sa vista64 bit, wala pang password yung link para sa patch para sa 64bit users. dinownload ko yung reloaded mas ok. pag extract derechong laro na. ito kasi pag start ko ng game bumabalik sa desktop, kahit i low ko lahat ng settings.
sa mga naka q6600 at 8800gt, laging 60fps sya sa gameplay tapos nag lalag sya pero hanggang 30+ fps lang ang pinaka lag nya...=) max settings lahat tapos 4xmsaa at 7 yung quality msaa except resolution naka 17" lang kasi ko.=(

The game runs nicely but i have one problem- it's the sound of the ball when you dribble the ball trough the court there's no sound of the ball, there's sound only in 5% parts of the floor. Anyone have the same problem!? How to fix that?

those of you who are experiencing black screen either means that you didnt copy the No cd Crack or your system doesnt meet the minimum requirement
cards that dont have shader model 3.0 will experience black screen at start

to those BLACK SCREENERS. your problem is so simple(if i'm not mistaken to your monitor)...the games default resolution is 1024x768 at your desktop refresh rate!!! most 15'' monitor don't support that.unless you configure your refresh rate at 60 hertz.

when i clicked the nba2k9.exe it enters the game, showed the opening screen and the interface when you get to choose your team.. and when you click skip during the part where there's the video. it suddenly exits the game, it won't enter the actual game...
