yo oggz - so you obviously put a lot of effort into this torrent, and i am going to assume that because you took this time, you have a desire to share this great music with as many people as you can....correct ?
then why the .ogg file format ? all this will do is confuse most people. it would have been just as easy to do straight .mp3
the need for a a .ogg player and a .ogg spliter will turn off ALOT of downloaders - maybe you don't care....but like i said above you must have a desire to share this music or you wouldn't have taken the time and bandwidth to upload
just my 2 cents

OggZ (2009-03-01)

@smbdownload
MP3 sounds like shit. It always has, always will.
Those that appreciate high quality will have ZERO problems with this torrent. Good players like foobar2000 will show the individual tracks without using a splitter. I only mentioned the oggsplit tool because some people might want to split out the individual tracks to load onto a portable. Any decent software music player will be ogg-capable already. It's really not an issue.
Besides, this stuff shouldn't be hard to find if If you don't care how crappy it sounds, then you should search for this stuff in MP3. It's Deep Purple, not some obscure band...the shitty MP3s are all over the place.
As I said, the people who appreciate the quality already know about OGG. I honestly don't give a shit about the MP3 dimwits...

What a moron! The only person here who seeds in a non-traditional format. Seed in uncompressed WAV or FLAC. What a loser! You bag on me because I place my uncompressed WAV seeds in FLAC category, yet I clearly state in the heading "WAV" . I have almost 100 seeds and you have only 2 and call me a non-seeding moron. People who voted for Bush shouldn't call others "moron".

OggZ - "MP3 sounds like shit. It always has, always will.

Well if you want the highest quality you should have just uploaded the cd image.....
Anyway good collection of deep purple...

@only1joe:
"if you want the highest quality you should have just uploaded the cd image"
Well, I do have the highest quality - I have all these CDs.
This is a good compromise for people who want fantastic quality without a huge download.
Obviously I could have uploaded lossless, but it would be roughly 30 gig. That's insane!
@sowingmyseed:
"I have almost 100 seeds"
You are an idiot. None of your posts have log files, so who the fuck knows how you ripped them or of they have glitches or not. You can't tag WAVs. 100 seeds of shit is still shit.
"some people really appreciate the WAV files"
And some people are morons, such as yourself. What's your point? EVERYONE can appreciate smaller downloads.
"People who voted for Bush shouldn't call others "moron"."
Huh? WTF does politics have to do with anything???

 only1joe (2009-03-02)

True - 30gigs would be massive...
Well it just goes to show, that you can have different bitrates (192, 320, 1411 - etc) and formats (ogg, wav, mp3 - etc) and one thing is gauranteed....
No One Will Ever Agree Which Is The Best...except THEIRS
By the way i was not trying to be negitive about your uploads, if i implied that - Sorry.

Great work, I really appreciate it. And I don't understand why you insult each other over something good and worthy - I mean anyone willing to share is worthy and must be appreciated - different thing is when we argue in a decent maner about, sometimes important and sometimes not, technicalities ...
Take care and thanx from Sarajevo
