You have to have a hacked PSP firstly. If you don't, try searching for guides to mod your PSP. If you have a low version PSP (meaning you haven't updated it often), it will be much easier to hack it. By the way, you won't have to open up your PSP when modding it, it's not that complicated :P
Second, once youhave it modded, update to the highest M33 version (that's the modded version, I think the highest is 5.01 or 5.00 right now). Then, create a folder on your memory card thats called ISO and stick the Metal Slug file in that folder. you should be able to play the game now.
If you need help, there's plenty of guides online. Google is your friend :)

thanks for responding, but i've been updating and my PSP is like 5.02.lol, i read some stuff on google and im just gonna wait for the newst m33 to come out for mine, don't want to downgrade it.lol. Thanks

You cant itssmee you need to downgrade to 1.50 then upgrade to anything up to 3.03 SE-A or SE-B I think it is, or just downgrade, get a spare battery, create a Pandora battery and then install Despetar Del Cementrino or a UPMS (Ultimate Pandora Memory Stick).

Forgot to mention in last message, it's up to 3.03 SE-A or SE-B because theyre the highest files supported from 1.50, if you're one 3.03 SE-A or SE-B you can update to anything.

you need to mod your psp to transfer your game on the memory stick
