Thank you for a great out of print movie. This doesn't bother me at all, but the video is not 16:9 it is non-animorphic 1.85:1 letterbox. I had been wanting this movie for quite a while.

I know this is over two years later, but I'll go ahead and clarify since it's here. The 1999 DVD transfer is not anamorphic; it is slightly letterboxed in its original ratio of 1.66:1. Many DVD releases did that because 1.66:1 has to be be either scaled or windowboxed on a 16:9 screen.
