First movie is a fan edit ("Starship Troopers Extended Edition", available ). I highly doubt aXXo would release a fan edit. You can clearly see a difference in quality in added scenes within the first 8-9 minutes, and title shot is clearly not original.
Might otherwise be an OK release, but it's not an aXXo, and it's not the retail movie. Caveat emptor.

the first part had some insertion of cam recording...especially last part of the first movie wherein they captured the bug....it was taken from a movie theater and then joined to the original movie...
a camera shot and a dvdrip joined together....
is this how really the movie is made?.....i don't know also....

ok i have just finished the 3rd movie omg wtf were they thinking please people dont waste your bandwidth on the 3rd movie the arachnids look more fake than the first 1 and the 3rd movie is all about religion and im not talkin kingdon of heaven religion movie :\
long story short 1st= best
2nd= no relation to 1st movie
3rd= wtf shit on a stick (the guns look like halo assault rifles and their is very few edge of your seat moments)

The first was good because they really put a lot into it. The second movie was horrible, as it was a poor attempt at reaping popularity from the first movie. The third movie is good, they tried to redeem themselves for the horrible piece of crap that is S.T. 2.

1st movie: usually good, but in many scenes there is a strange drop in quality which is extremely annoying, so, total: 5/10
2nd movie: 3/10
3rd movie: 9/10
The movies themselves.... the first is a lot of fun, though it doesn't make too much sense (waves of infantry charging in the 24th century? etc., etc.). Plus, I don't like Heinlein's fascistic ideas, even if they are satirized, somewhat, in than movie.
The second movie is a piece of shit.
The third is an annoying piece of shit. But all the god fearing brainless morons out there will probably like it.

Hi, I'm sure it's mentioned in here, but it's worth repeating that the Heinlein book upon which the first movie is VERY loosely based is a disturbing and quite good meditation the wars of the 20th century. Fun Fact - The Rodger Young, which is the ship they're on in the first one, was named after a soldier in the South Pacific who got the Congressional Medal of Honor posthumously. Thanks for the DL. Quality of book/movie is irrelevant. Nevertheless, the last ten minutes or so of the first movie drop to cam quality. Not sure how this could happen, but definitely ruins the climax, especially on the big screen. Generally a huge fan of axxo torrents, but steer clear of this one (at least for the first film).
