The audio is completely fucked up. It's 5 channel, not 5.1. The ripper has somehow left out the LFE (Low Frequency Effects) so everything is incredibly quiet, barely audible at max volume.
The picture has suffered from denoising and gross oversharpening.
This is a real noob job.

It appears the problems described by rippervanwinkle are not the ripper's fault but Sony's transfer. The blur-ray source lacks the .1 channel and the picture quality-wise is inconsistent at best. I have compared a blu-ray source with this and I think the sharpening (deblock=1:-2:-2) applied by the ripper really helped a lot. I think far from a noob, he really knew what he was doing. Then again, this is just my humble opinion.
