Working as it should. After installing the execute (or unzip it with some application) I only got a white screen when running my bat-file. After a quick googling I succeeded to play it by with this line: hl2.exe -game "portal prelude" -dxlevel 81 +mat_forcehardwaresync 0 -autoconfig . BTW This GAME is really difficult to play :)

I installed N-E-O's version of Portal and downloaded the Portal Prelude 1.1.5 Mod but couldn't kept getting a white screen.
SOLUTION:
1)create a shortcut for hl2.exe
2)paste this after text already there:
-steam -game "Portal Prelude" -window -dxlevel 81 +mat_forcehardwaresync 0
3) should look like this:
"C:Program FilesPortalhl2.exe" -steam -game "Portal Prelude" -window -dxlevel 81 +mat_forcehardwaresync 0
4)Run this shortcut to play
