Garmin Mapsource Topo Poland v.0806

Topo PL 100 v.0806 is, to be perfectly clear, very much a work in progress. That being said, it is clear that a lot of work has been done with some excellent results. This is the 2008-06 release of this software. Topo PL 100 are Garmin Mapsource maps that cover roughly a third of Poland. Some areas have better coverage - trails (routable!), POI's and detailed land cover (forest, scrub, reserves, wetlands, etc.) - and other areas have just the basic topographical coverage, e.g. contour lines and not much else. These are repackaged from the original download, available here: http://gpsmaniak.com/new/download-garmin-kod.htm ...My version doesn't require you to know any Polish or make any guesses about what buttons mean what. Just download, unpack into wherever the rest of your Garmin maps are (usually C:Garmin) and run the reg file. If your maps aren't all in C:Garmin you'll need to edit the reg file before running it. If you aren't comfortable doing that sort of thing, download the author's original version. Sorry that this is a bit, well, rough... but I challenge you to look around: there are no other, better sets of topographical maps for Poland. dodolicious: the link I provided to gpsmaniak's web site is the one to follow. But there isn't a new release yet. If I recall correctly he only releases new sets of maps every half-year or so.
