didnt work for me but it could be my ps2. i burned slowest speed on a sony, cogswapped, and it just reads it for a few seconds and then stops and i jus get a black screen forever. if it worked for others though then its just me

works perfect, i burned with dvd decrypter at 8x with verbatim dvd-r . and i use swap magic...
no problems here so far...

Playstation 2 will read DVD-R and DVD+R. It doesn't read RW. I just use DVD-R because it's more widely supported in most things. How is your system modded?

Usually -R is a lot more stable in PS2's. It'll read both, but you won't always have the quality of a -R.
I've burned only a few games on +R and I don't think any of them work fully.
Just reburn on -R and you should be fine.

not fake,
it didn't work for me at first,
but I had to rebuild the ISO with CD/DVD Generator.
Just Google it to get the program
First step to do so:
Open up CD/DVD Generator.

Click DVD Rom Master disc

Get all the files in the ISO(you could mount it in a virtual drive if you like) and drag them in to CD/DVD Generator in this order

(FOLDER)MUSIC
(FOLDER)SOUNDS
(FOLDER)STREAMS
DATAP.HED
DATAP.WAD
DATAPD.HDP
DATAPF.HDP
SLUS_217.40
SYSTEM.CNF

Now click on the VOLUME button(under file)
You will see a few text margins,
in the first margin where it says "Disc Name"
you will type:
SLUS
Make sure it is all caps,
then in the second margin of "Disc Name"
you will type:
21740

In the Producer name margin,
you will type:
PLAYSTATION
again, make sure it is all caps

Where it says "License Area"
you need to change it from "Japan" to "America"

go to FILE
down to where it says "Export IML file"
(I export it to my Desktop)

Google this program and download it:
Genie IML 2 ISO

Open Genie IML 2 ISO,
click the browse button and go to where you saved that IML file.
Now click Start.

When Genie IML 2 ISO is done building the ISO,
burn at 4x or slower wth Nero, Roxio, etc.
