Very amusing. When World War 2 ended, the USA deliberately bankrupted Britain by calling in all of its loans. Then the USA generously agreed to loan Britain a fraction of the amount it asked for (at such a huge rate of interest that the debt was not repaid until 2005). In addition, the USA required Britain to scrap its currency and market protection rules (thus allowing the USA unopposed economic advantages in World markets) and to grant India immediate independence (a premature demand which led to mass slaughter in the sub-continent)....Do these facts tally with the assertion that Britain is secretly ruling the USA? How about the time that the USA refused to back Britain over the Suez Crisis?...or the way that Washington declined to prop up the Pound (almost bringing down the Wilson government) when no British troops went to Vietnam?...Yep, the Brits are very cunning - nobody would ever guess they were the masters!
