Description:

WatchOCR is an open source OCR (optical character recognition) system that is on a bootable CD. I downloaded the file and verified it with the md5sum from the watchocr homepage. You can avoid taxing their servers for the whole 650MB file by quickly downloading the main file via bittorrent and just verify the integrity of the iso with the md5sum at http://watchocr.com/files/ This is for watchocr-V0.2-210-06-28-en.iso

If some of you downloaders could verify this file with the md5sum from the vendor's homepage and make a comment here about such, I would appreciate it.

After making the torrent in vuze, using
http://tpb.tracker.thepiratebay.se/announce
as the tracker, and then uploading the torrent from tpb's web page, and waiting overnight, the torrent *still* was getting no traffic. So, this morning, I removed the torrent, downloaded the torrent (which i had made) from tpb, and tried to download the file into the same directory where it already was. Vuze dutifully checked the file, and then, finally, uploading began.
I'll be seeding a little slowly, but I will continue till WatchOCR comes out with a new version or they begin offering a torrent themselves.
