The acting was convincing, but they did the cheap old trick of pointing the camera away from the guy getting kicked. Also, I felt that the movie failed to make the viewer empathetic toward Coffy. This made me pity the thugs she took down over the course of the movie and want to see her lose. Not a bad movie over all though.
