Download DAEMON tools lite free off the internet.
Install and then when it asks for an update DECLINE this!
Left click icon in the corner tray (lighting blue) and find the mdf file or mds
Select it and it will run
Basically it will tell your computer that the CD is in the CD drive. Its a neat trick.

Works perfect, must be burnt to a disc first to use it.
mounting didn't work for me.
damn this got hard, i did it in 2001 and there was just 35 questions and no hazard perception to do.
got to take retest after being naughty boy, wish it was as easy as last time.

Charm of poorly made CD detection system.
It always takes the first optical drive letter in the system as default for using CD.
If you're mounting, just use device manager to turn your optical drive(s) off for the time being or just change drive letters. Hope it helps :)

when 'launching driving test application' it asks for a 'insert pass-test cd-rom ' instruction; ive daemon tools installed and know how its workaround but this torrent doesnt have '.mds' file when extracted from its rar compression; does anybody know how to make this piece of application work? if not, a good candidate for removal and/or deletion? thanks and apppreciate any assistance then in advance;

EdwinSidu is absolutely correct. Use device manager to disable (dont need to uninstall) the real optical drives on your PC, leaving the virtual one put by daemon/alcohol etc. Mounting with this will work. If you dont know how to use the device manager you can disable the drive in BIOS, or simply unplug it from your PC (not recommended for laptops). Or, you could waste a CD if you must.

Thanks for uploading. Disabling the actual DVD drive trick worked for me by mounting the image with Daemon Tools. The application works OK. I'm using 32bit Windows 7.

I really don't get this. I downloaded the torrent, and followed the instructions, ie downloaded daemon tools. I can't find a way to "mount" the image because there is no image! ... just 30-something RAR files. The downloaded file shows as empty when I try to use daemon tools to mount. Can anyone explain the process in more detail? I've tried downloading several of driving theory test torrents and face the same probem with each of them. Many thanks.
