Skumt! Demot funkar bra för mig. Denna release fungera utan några somhelst problem. Uppenbarligen är det många andra som spelet funger bra för med.
Men vissa moppefuckon.....*suck*
Har du rätt spec på din dumburk? 1 gig ram, minst ett mkt vasst 128 mb grafik kort...P4 3 Ghz..listan kan göras hur långsomhelst.
Skumt dock att demot funka o inte detta. Men jag säger det igen. Releasen fungerar till 100%.

Alltså det här problemet med att folk åker ut tillbaka till windows beror på problem med grafik motorn och Ati Radeon kort. Jag läste at EA och Ati är medveten om den här saken och jobbar på att fixa till problemet med en patch! Dom föreslog att man skulle byta om till den gamla Catalyst 5.1 drivrutinen för bättre prestanda. Vänta er ingen patch föränn spelet är officiellt släppt!

I just fixed the problem with the game crashing using radeon cards! u have to lower the "Shadows options" to medium or low. I tryed this and now the game works perfectly! And yes u can play it online! I do!! ;-)

If the game just exit do desktop when you try to start it, it's because of your refresh rate. It's the exact same problem that BF1942 had... Quote: "- Battlefield 1942 has that annoying refresh rate crap where every time you patch it you have to go into the config file and change the "allow all refresh rates" from 0 to 1 so the game works if you use a refresh rate other than 60 Hz." Where "patch" = fresh install in this case Anyways you find the config file in modsbf2settings and it's called VideoDefault.con (just open with notepad) and the line is renderer.allowAllRefreshRates If there's a Video.con file in that folder too you might wanna copy the line into that config and set it to 1 as well. Just in case anyone encounters this problem... Thanks to a user for this info! ;-)

i think many people are confused with this ea shit pixel shader 1.4 and on g4ti you can play with shader mod, and it has many graphical issues no textures, invisible tanks, artefacts, etc but player models and weapons are good

I am using Azureus. I am at 99.9%. Now it just keeps trying to load the same one piece over and over again piece #2489 which must belong to RLB_BAT@.r26 . cause if I try to winrar the files... this file is said to be corrupt or not finished. Nord : Prova med att sätta "+fullscreen 0" i genvägen till BF2.exe . För mig började BF2 helt plötsligt vägra starta och bara blinkade till som du säger. Provade köra utan fullscreen och då startade det. Kan tro det är ett problem med hertzen på skärmen.

Not strange it's not working with older cards like the GF4, or the early card's in the GF5k series.
Non of this cards supports Direct X 9 rendering, wich means the computer can't display even the bad thing cuse it need's DX9.

The game demands some recent hardware, but it's working on my computer fine. I didn't have a problem installing, but did have a prob running it at first. A simple restart after the install fixed the game suddenly dropping to desktop.
Dissapointed EA doesnt allow bots in multiplayer.

I have one computer that has problems with this game, but that same computer has problems with every DirectX

I finally figured out how to fix that damn crash to desktop error when using a GF4TI card.
1) download the Microsoft Framework from

and install it.
2) download DXTweaker: http://mrbauer.net/files/dxtweaker.rar
3) Extract to a folder on desktop
4) Run DXTweaker, and goto "New" on the right
5) Point it to your root BF2 EXE (in your EA Sportsbattlefield 2 DIR)
6) Check the 2 boxes that contain 'SHADER' , one is FORCE SHADER FP and the other is FORCE SHADER PP.
7) Click Apply, and then click RUN on the top.
It will launch the game with no problems and you will be playing very smoothly.

I have now managed to get battlefield2 work without any problems of any kind, the game used to crash randomly anywhere in the game, i tried everything from updating my bios to dlin the latest directx drivers etc etc.
BUT THE PROBLEM WAS....BELIEVE IT OR NOT... (I still dont know how) the HYPERTHREADING function of my P4 processor! and what did i do?? I TURNED OFF HYPERTHREADING FROM THE BIOS and it now works PERFECTLY!
what you need to do is find yourself the KEYGEN and get a unique CDKEY so that you dont get an error when connecting to a server with a user with the same KEY... or if you've already installed it; find the KEYGEN + CDKEY CHANGER and.. you'll get the rest..
and when finding yourself a server on the net, search for "CRACK" or other words in the servernames, so that youll find yourself one server that doesnt verify your CDKEY with EA's servers... thats IT! happy gaming

Works perfect, firstly i had that black screen and back to desktop problem. At least for me it was happening because the game tries to set resolution 800x600 with 60hz and i have a program that forces refresh rate to 75.. if the game cant set that resolution with those hz:s it goes back to desktop..

Winrar might be able to open the iso image, but it doesnt allow you to "mount" it. Daemon tools (free) or Alcohol 120 (shareware) can mount the images. I don't use daemon tools so i cant tell you what to do. It's showing up as 1962mb because this is a DVD.

If you explore the DVD of battlefield, there is a foler named "crack". Take the 2 files in it and copy and paste to your install directory (c:program files/ea games/ battlefield2)

Thx forgotten_gt!! I have managed to install I forgott that I had to extract the iSO file first haha.
But now I have another problem the game starts fine but when I play it freeze and a fucking enoying sound comes from the speakers? And then I have to restart my computer anyone else who have this problem?
I have tried to change the graphic from the worst to the best I have a RADEON 9600 XT AGP and 512 mb ram and my computer is on 3.0ghz I have tried to run dxdiag and change my sound from full acceleration to standard but its doesn't matter and then I was looking on the ea support and I couldn't find the problem I had just this problem when I played The Battle for Middle-Earth my littlebrother says that it is something with the mouse when he drag it up to the corner of the screen it freeze and the enoying sound was there. Do Ea games not support Radeon or what? I have a flat monitor could it be that?
It feels like i'm having a bad day.

yes you can play online on private servers, which are listed ingame (watch for keywords like 'crack' 'no key' 'free play' etc.).

I think the issue with going to the desktop after some minutes of play is related to Starforce protection. I have tried numerous fixes and Image fix, Antiblaxx etc. But after some time the game freezes and I return to my deskop. I am actually considering buing this game, and I have not bougt any software ever :(
I hate starforce so intence that I have no words for it.
Anyway some time has to be the first, I am caving in and heading for the store. 500 kr poorer.

This game is excellent.Works great.Nocd crack did not come with game, but is easily found here at the bay,along with cdkeys and gens.You will have to work some to get online but is possible.Extract the cd image found in the Battlefield 2 RELOADED file and emulate cd image with Alcohol 120.Install game.Apply cdkey.Paste and replace the EXE. with the crack and play.You definately need a monster rig to play.Game runs excellent with the min Gcard,example FX5700LE..Thanx so much. :)

Bloodmouth You find the crack direcktory on the dvd. Mount the file then you open the dvd disc and copy over the crack and put it in the installdirecktory.
If you have problem with "black screen" or that the game falis to load and just go back to the windows desktop. Try to sett 60 hz in windows and then try. The game have a problem to load the game if you have a higher hz in windows.
Right klick on the desktop > propotis > setup > advance Monitor or "Bildskärm" My english is not so good :p hehe

Hello johanebest. The cracked files are at the place where you extracted the .rar files. In a folder named Crack. Copy the files into the instalation folder and click yes on the question tag thet comes up.

Well I won't be as blunt as HBAndrew, but it's really easy to make this work. Once the game is installed, all you have to do is extract the .exe from the "crack" folder and replace the original .exe from the game folder. I don't understand why doing this is so difficult for some, as this is the most basic way of using a crack.

For those who still can't figure it out, here's what I did.
1.Downloaded game
2.Mounted iso with Daemon tools
3.Restarted computer as per instructions
4.Drug a copy of bf2.exe from the "crack" folder to desktop
5.Went in search of game folder
6.Replaced original bf2.exe with "cracked" version.
It will ask if you if you want to replace the current verison. I think you know the answer to that.

I will assume that you know how to use winrar and you have gotten daemon tools, which can be found by google or anywhere else.
Once you have the image all you need to do is create a virtual drive using daemon tools and "mount" the image/ISO. All daemon tools is, is a virtual CD drive. You will show an extra drive in My Computer with daemon tools.
So once the game is installed then do what I've said earlier about copying over the original bf2.exe with the "cracked" version, which you should be able to see with winrar.

You can update this version with the patch - you just need to do it BEFORE you crack it - oh, and the crack from here wont work with the patched update - you'll need the mini image that's kicking about. Works fine - if you're having problems on your radeon card, try changing the AGP speed from 8x to 4x. That worked on my 9200 :)

multiplayer wont work for online play as you need a original cd key to play. but you may be able to find some cracked servers which are servers which people with pirated copies play in. You can play over LAN.

If AnyBody Have Problem to get this to Work. Try this one ! :)
1.Install Daemon-Tools.
2.Restart Your Computer. Daemon-Tools Start Automatic.
3.RightClick on the TrayIcon Beside The clock.
4.Go to "Emulation" and Enable to "SafeDisc".
5.Go to "Virtual CD/DVD ROM" And Set Drivers To one.
6.Go to "Device 0: [G:] No Media" and click on Mount Image. And Search after your downloads or something.
7. And Being Installing.
It Should Work for you, it works for me anyway.. :)
