A ²Û ÛÛÛ² band that got my attention like none other. ²Û ÛÛÛ² Lifelover's personal expression through their ²Û ÛÛÛ² music, was like none other that I have ²Û ÛÛÛ² encountered during my countless of years ²Û ÛÛÛ² dealing with Black Metal (in general). So it ²Û ÛÛÛ² was a breeze of fresh (putrid) air that ²Û ÛÛÛ² lingered through the room when I heard their ²Û ÛÛÛ² music. "Erotik" picks up where "Pulver" left ²Û ÛÛÛ² us. And it's a work that takes all the great ²Û ÛÛÛ² ideas from their debut and takes them onto ²Û ÛÛÛ² another level. Their work has matured, the song ²Û ÛÛÛ² structures and lyrics are for me sharper on ²Û ÛÛÛ² this album. The music is something that proves ²Û ÛÛÛ² to be hard to describe. Take hints of Joy ²Û ÛÛÛ² Division and The Cure and pour it into a ²Û ÛÛÛ² cauldron filled with gloom, depravity and ²Û ÛÛÛ² social realistic lyrics. Clean singing mixed ²Û ÛÛÛ² with agonizing vocals with an emphasis on the ²Û ÛÛÛ² choke hold that this society has on all of us. ²Û ÛÛÛ² Drugs, self-destruction, illness and a ²Û ÛÛÛ² struggling to understand this existence. ²Û ÛÛÛ² Lifelover doesn't hold the answers, but it ²Û ÛÛÛ² delievers like no other band has done before. ²Û ÛÛÛ² And this is truely the most stellar and perfect ²Û ÛÛÛ² works that has graced me with it's presence. ²Û ÛÛÛ² Comes with a 20-page full colour booklet, ²Û ÛÛÛ² printed with heavy and thick paper for the best ²Û ÛÛÛ² result.
