* A mixed media project originally conceived by Maeda Jun with original character designs by Na-Ga, from Visual Art's/Key. The after-life world for youths having died in an unfair turn of events is centred around a large school campus... Yuri, the leader of the Shinda Sekai Sensen (SSS), rebels against the god who destined her to have an unreasonable life. On the other hand, Tenshi nicknamed Angel, the chairperson of the student council for the world after death, harnesses supernatural powers against the SSS members. What is this strange world in limbo, where no one ages or dies? Why do some students simply vanish? What role does the seemingly violent Angel play, and what are the SSS' goals? The recently deceased Otonashi Yuzuru is looking for the answers... Note: The first episode was pre-aired during a special event for the Angel Beats multimedia project, held in Tokyo on March 22, 2010 to a selected number of lucky first-time viewers, who were chosen from a nationwide postcard lottery held until March 12.

Beware!! Doesn't have the English dub audio track as specified in the description above.
Fine if you want Japanese dub with English sub though. Also has the Japanese commentary audio track although no subs for it. Video quality is fine, Japanese signs .etc graphically altered with English.
