This is the supremacy of placebo!! This is the best live DVD I will ever own.
Every so often it all comes together. Band, crowd, venue and the music itself. Always the music. But it each element has its own way to play. Without one the rest is nothing. Alchemy, they sometimes call it. They also sometimes call it a great show.
When Placebo took the stage on october 18th, 2003, before 16000 up-for-it fans, everyone just knew. There was something in the air, along with several thousand arms. The ensuing hour and a half journey through the bands career moved effortlessly from the anthemic euphoria of favourites Pure Morning, The Bitter End, And Taste In Men to the cathartic drama of tracks such as Peeping Tom and Protege Moi. The Latter managing to archive a poignant, vulnerable intimacy, despite or quite possible because of the vastness of the surroundings.
By the time Frank Black (pixies) arrived for the show-stopping finale: Where Is My Mind - Nobody wanted the night to end, least of all, Brian Molko (the leadsinger). Everyone was relieved that the whole thing had been captured on film: A permanent, lasting record - One in which Soulmates Never Die!!!!!

is there only a concert or is it a whole dvd?and will it fit into one disc? ;>
jotun_82 (2008-04-07)
It is one complete concert. It is 2 hours long. The concert will fit on one DVD9. If you do not have a dual layer DVD burner you can convert it into DVD5vinryk (2008-04-09)
Great upload but a shame you messed up the directory structure. Both AUDIO_TS and VIDEO_TS should be in the rootfolder. This one won't play on any players and you cannot rip it with DVDShrink. If anybody knows a way to salvage this mess please let me know.

Ditto, what a fucking mess and waste of my bandwidth. Hopefully jotun_82 has a solution.kamizzi (2008-04-10)
yeah, do you jotun? I'd be really happy...vinryk (2008-04-11)
I left a message in his other recent uploads as well. Hopefully he will read them.jotun_82 (2008-04-13)
I am sorry guys....did not mean to mess up....what's your problem, the root folder got the wrong name?? I checked....the folder where the video_ts and audio folder should be kept is supposed to be named PLACEBO. I actually don't understand how it could happen that it was named something else...please let me know....jotun_82 (2008-04-13)
let me know if I need to upload it again...jOAKIM- (2008-04-17)
marciov79 (2008-04-18)
Isn't it possible to run DVD_Shrink on the original DVD and save it as a 4.3GB ISO image? This would be so nice to everyone... I'd seed it forever too.marciov79 (2008-04-29)
Where are the comments?kamizzi (2008-05-01)
I really agree with marciov. Is it possible?(I'm sure it is :))
