Description:

In 1998 we releases this program on video featuring the last part 121 scheduled Boeing 707 in North America, weeks before it was retired from service ; 8 years later we're happy to bring this unique and rare 707 program back on dvd! You will enjoy 3 flights in the cockpit from Miami to Honduras and Nicaragua with some nice presentations by the Captain and Flight Engineer. On December 20th Boeing celebrated the 50th anniversary of the 707s 1st flight. This DVD is a rare opportunity to take a trip back on this great aircraft!

Simply fabulous!
This is really an older freight dog crew, huh? Hey, no sweat.
I had to love that flight engineer. A little kooky in his twilight years on deck...hey let's be honest about it. However, you can really feel he's been around the block on these jets for-freakin-evah, and knows things most other crew couldn't even imagine.
Like thumping the engine cowlings! At first I was like...what?! What are you doing, dude? He explains himself and I was awestruck. I'm sure he learned to make that check after just such an incident caused some serious damage! (Just like the reasons they write the obvious into product warning labels...because someone at some point was dumb enough to do that thing.)
This was a better DVD in that the crew kept you involved in the activities on deck. I love that attention. It brings the viewer actively into their world, rather than being forced to merely play the wallflower.
That crew's prolly all in retirement now. Godspeed to them.
