How do you input the subtitle file if it comes seperately along with the avi file? How can you burn the movie correctly if I cannot include the ST file? Please help, thanks.

CORRECTION re English subs...
They start automatically with the movie BUT are deletable if u wish.

Subs ARE NOT hardcoded in the movie if you burn it to disc!! Very frustrating. Can anyone tell me how to put them on the movie?

Tried convertx to dvd...what a fucking farce trying to put subs on a movie!!! Then you get a watermark through the movie!!!
Surely uploaders could do it since they are such clever bastards!!

you can download English subs here, it will be txt format, just rename .sub and make sure the sub file and avi file are named the same way before encoding:

rename the txt file to sub
name sub file and avi same
way, eg jvl-ktyn.avi
and jvl-ktyn.sub

Tried that! Nero says 'unable to add katyn.2007.sub'. Any more ideas please??

The best thing you can do is download winavi, link:

If you convert the file to DVD / VCD / MPEG or any other format your DVD player can play and include the subtitle it becomes hardcoded, can't help you anymore that that

Thankyou Snapdel, but I cannot get Nero 7 to recognise the sub file so it burns to disc without it!!! Therefore no subs! Surely someone must know how to do this?? ie put the subs in with the movie!!

you use the file converter (winavi) to include the subtitles into the main file before using nero
